The Course with the Views

Main menu:

Ventnor Golf Club is the oldest club on the Isle of Wight and was founded in 1892.  The course is in a very pleasant downland and cliff top setting, with probably the best views on the Island. providing panoramic vistas over the surrounding country side, to the mainland and English Channel.

It is unusual in that it is a twelve hole course, with six of the twelve holes being played twice.  Alternative tee boxes on several of these holes providing a variation on the back nine.  The overall length is approximately 5,700 yards, SSS 68 Par 70.  Enjoyable and challenging for both low and high handicappers.

We are an exceptionally friendly little club and visitors are always made very welcome.

The course is open from 7am until dusk.  When competitions are taking place, on Sundays and Tuesdays, the course generally will be closed until 11am.  Finally, please observe our dress code and course etiquette and above all enjoy your game.

Are you thinking of joining a club?  Then come and have a free round with one of our members and also enjoy the views.  Beginners are most welcome and we can show you how to play this wonderful game.
